I had never read anything like it and I have yet to find anything that compares. This book was beautiful and well thought out. This above everything I have read from him is my favorite. This seemed to be his least liked novel, I decided to read his book in publication order starting with his debut. The story telling was spot on and I was thrilled the whole way through, right on the edge of my seat.

This book had the best synopsis I had read in a long time. I read this book a few years ago and still remember it like it was yesterday. I still think about this book to this day, I remember key details that didn’t seem to be big plot points when reading it, but they have stuck with me since. This was my first post apocalyptic novel that I had read in the adult genre and it blew me away. I shed some tears and definitely was wrong on how this novel was going to end but damn it made me emotional. I had so many emotions through reading this it was crazy. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid.The way the atmosphere was was the best part of the spooky stuff. This book had a thrilling aspect in the world building over the way the characters were. However, once I started it I couldn’t stop. I had heard so many mixed reviews of this book that it made me nervous to pick it up. Her writing and storytelling is so immersive and thought out. This book had me hooked from page one and needing to read more from this author. Overall it was perfectly balanced and handled so well. This book was magical and had the sweetest romance while also dealing with a few heavy topics. I absolutely adored this book, however, I tried the Starless Sea and just couldn’t get into it the way I wanted to. Let’s make this last week of the month a positive one.
